MOBILE PHONE AS AN INTERNET MODEM, THINK TWICE TO USE IT

The world becomes so narrow since internet is accessible in almost all countries. People get connected easily with the help of internet connection, eliminating the difference of time, place, and space. This phenomenon has increased the demand of some devices enabling internet connection around the world, especially modem.
Today, as the rapid improvement and development of the function of mobile phone, many manufacturers of the communication device has issued their products with more attractive features, particularly modem capability. Almost all mobile phone now can function as a modem for an internet connection. With its supporting driver, simply plug into our PC or notebook, install the driver, change the setting based on our provider, and enjoy the internet connection for many purposes.
Nevertheless, knowing the impacts of using a mobile phone as a modem is another knowledge we have to consider, particularly if the mobile phone is so important for our other business. There are some crucial damages if we use our mobile phone for modem, especially if we use it in a long period.
Basically, mobile phone as a modem will be connected directly to our PC or laptop, although using Bluetooth is applicable. This of course will make our mobile phone overheated and also overcharged. The longer we use it for internet connection, the more heat will be transmitted from our PC/laptop to our mobile phone. Beside that, our mobile phone has to bear the heat from the mobile phone itself as well. Thus, both the circuit and the battery of our mobile phone will gain more heat pressure.
To keep our mobile phone function well, it is recommended to be selective in optimizing the modem capability inside it. Unless emergency, it is better to use cheap mobile phone for a modem or to buy “real” modem to get internet connection. The choice is ours, but we surely do not want to lose our expensive mobile phone for such a connection right?
