THE MAIN DIFFERENCES OF HTC DESIRE S AND HTC INCREDIBLE S

At a glance, HTC Desire S and HTC Incredible S look similar. Their candy bar designs with identical interfaces show no difference between the two Smartphones. However, why do they have different names? Let us see inside them.
Both HTC Desire S and HTC Incredible S adopt 1 GHz Scorpion processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon. They can work in GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and HSDPA 900/2100 networks, use 1.1 GB ROM and 768 RAM, and support up to 32 GB external memory. Besides, the newly-launched Smartphones are supported by 1450 mAh Lithium-Ion battery.
Things differentiate them are exactly as follow:

1.      HTC Desire S uses 3,7 inches S-LCD capacitive touchscreen, while HTC Incredible S applies 4.0 inches;
2.      HTC Desire S has 5 MP Camera, full of autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, and image stabilization but HTC Incredible S adopts 8 MP camera with such features.
3.      Secondary camera in HTC Desire S supports only VGA quality while in HTC Incredible S, 1.3 MP camera is ready to utilize;
4.      HTC Desire S comes with Android v2.3 (Gingerbread) and HTC Incredible S adopts Android v2.2 (Frozen Yoghurt);
5.      HTC Desire S  has 115 x 59.8 x 11.6 mm dimensions and weight about 130 gram whereas HTC Incredible S is 120 x 64 x 11.7 mm dimensions and weight about 135.5 gram


Other features of the both are relatively common for today’s Smartphone. Nevertheless, with Android operating systems, HTC Desire S and HTC Incredible S give chance for their customers to upgrade their features easily with full support from Google through the developing market of such an operating system.
