LG OPTIMUS BLACK GREETS ITS LOVERS WITH NOVA DISPLAY TECHNOLOGY

Announced in the first month of this year, LG Optimus Black has been a waiting-list to be officially released this May. Bringing so many interesting features, this Smartphone has made many mobile gadget lovers curious to experience more about how it can satisfy today’s needs for such a multi-function device. For those who have not heard about this hi-tech mobile phone, these are some clues.

LG Optimus Black comes with slim design, 9.2 mm in thickness. It has 4 inches NOVA capacitive touchscreen display (16 million colors). This screen supports accelerometer, ambient light, and proximity sensor. Using TI OMAP 3630 1 GHz processor and 512 RAM, this smartphone runs on Android 2.2 (Frozen Yoghurt) platform with LG Home launcher 2.0 and Gesture Ul 2.0. By chance, this operating system is also upgradeable to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).

In term of multimedia, LG Optimus Black is set with 5 mega pixels rear-facing camera, which supports autofocus, face detection and geo-tagging. Accompanied with LED Flash, this primary camera can capture 720p-quality video. Whereas, a 2 mega pixels front-facing camera above the screen of this mobile gadget is also ready to function as a webcam for video call. In regard of such capabilities, this mobile gadget has 2GB internal storage, which can be expanded using microSD card, up to 32 GB.

LG Optimus Black is also flexible since it supports Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, micro USB v2.0, and 3.5 mm audio jack. It can work on Quad-band GSM and dual-band 3G as well as transfer data up to 7.2 Mbps HSDPA and 5.76 Mbps HSUPA.

Other interesting features of this LG’s product are GPS with A-GPS, digital compass, Stereo FM radio with RDS, smart dialing, voice dialing, DivX/XviD video support, Adobe Flash 10.1. As designed to run such various features, LG Optimus Black is supported with 1500 mAh Li-Ion standard battery, which sounds good enough to give quite-long power for stand-by and talk-time.
