HP VEER 4G COMES UP WITH HP WEBOS 2.1

After flooded by various models of Smartphone from HTC, Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Blackberry, Motorola, Iphone , and Samsung, now mobile gadget market is welcoming a new model from Hewlett-Packard, namely HP Veer 4G.  Being so famous with other electronic products, HP tries to take part in Smartphone market with such a model. Targeted for filling the need of certain segment of customers, HP Veer 4G comes in sliding design. This looking-funny smartphone uses QWERTY keypad and also touchscreen for texting-input. Whereas, this mobile gadget is presented to work on GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 networks.
Along with the booming of Android OS applied in most Smartphone product s today, HP Veer 4G in turn comes with WebOS 2.1, which sounds so unfamiliar for those who are not mobile gadget-minded. Besides, this smartphone uses 2.6 capacitive touchscreen display (256K colors) with multi-touch input method, proximity sensor, and accelerometer. It is also powered with 800 MHz Scorpion processor, Adreno 205 GPU, Qualcomm MSM 7230 chipset.
HP Veer 4G supports Flash Player 10.1 and has 5 MP rear-facing camera with geo-tagging but brings no front-facing one for video call. Its 8 GB storage, which is not expandable since providing no external memory slot, may become its main drawback for today’s need of multimedia device. However, its flexibility with the availability of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, microUSB slot, and HSDPA 14.4 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps can satisfy people’s need for such connections.
