WELCOME SONY ERICSSON ELM, THE GREEN HEART CELLULAR PHONE

Cellular phone lovers might not forget how Sony Ericsson could penetrate market few years ago with their Cybershot and Walkman-model cellular phones. As trend gradually changes, Sony Ericsson begins to introduce the new way to get certain customers with their theme “Green Heart.” The main idea of this theme is introducing cellular phones that can be recycled. For this purpose, at least Sony Ericsson has launched two models. They are Sony Ericsson Hazel and Elm.
Specifically, Sony Ericsson Hazel comes with sliding design and 5-choices navigation button, 2,6 inch TFT display 16, 7 million colors, 280 MB internal memory and up to 16 GB external memory support, 5 MP camera with LED flash,  HSDPA/HSUPA/Wi-Fi support, GPS, flashlight, Bluetooth, PC Sync, video and audio player, FM Radio, 1000 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery, and other common features for today’s needs. Whereas, Sony Ericsson ELM is almost similar with its twin brother “Hazel.” It supports GSM Quadband, uses 2,2 inch TFT screen, supports up to 8 GB external data storage, and so forth. What make the two cellular phones different is that Sony Ericsson ELM uses candy bar design.
From the features offered by the two “Green Heart” cellular phones, we may think that they have been launched specifically to satisfy the need of middle-end users. However, the “Green Heart” theme, embedded in them may become the “weapon” from Sony Ericsson to approach those who love “Go Green” spirit. This is the most interesting point of the coming of the two cellular phones since today, the demand for recycled materials used in any electronic device keeps increasing.
